Steve Mathewson (PhD, Stellenbosch University) has served as a pastor for almost four decades in Montana and in the north suburbs of Chicago. He is currently the executive director of The Biblical Preaching Advance and serves as an adjunct professor in preaching and biblical studies at Western Seminary. He has authored several books, including Risen: 50 Reasons Why the Resurrection Changed Everything, The Art of Preaching Old Testament Narrative, and The Art of Preaching Old Testament Poetry. He and his wife live in Libertyville, Illinois.
