Hallelujah! “Jesus lives forever! His priesthood is permanent, and his kingship is uncontested. He completely saves those who come to God through him, for His sacrifice for us was once-and-for-all and the righteousness we now wear is his. Jesus never stops interceding for us, we are un-snatch-able from his hand, inseparable from his love, and he will keep and carry us all the way Home.” (Encouraging conflation of Heb.7:24-25, Heb.10:10, Rev.1:5; Rom.8:38-39; Isa. 61:10; Jn.10:28, Jude 1, Phil.1:6)
Lord Jesus, there is no Savior like you because there is no other Savior, period. You haven’t saved us partially or provisionally. We’re not on probation; are lives are united to yours. You save us completely—without contingencies, qualifiers, or obscure fine print.
Because of what you’ve done for us Jesus we are 100% forgiven, 100% robed in your perfect righteousness—100% seen, known, and loved. All your prayers for us are perfect, and each of them is being answered in Abba’s perfect timing, in a perfect way, for eternal purposes.
Though Satan’s attacks are endless your care for us is 10,000 times more relentless. You don’t just have our “backs,” but our whole being and the entire cosmos—for you are making all things new. With you as our life, death has become gain and heaven our Home (Phil.1:21; Phil.3:20).
Jesus, if we could see ourselves as we will be in eternity (1Jn.3:1-3), we’d be undone with joy, overcome with awe, and over-filled with hope. May all this Gospel-goodness shrink our fears, deflate our anxieties, and shrivel our worries. Free us Jesus more than ever to live and love, serve and sing to your glory. Thank you, and So Very Amen.
