Mel Lacy on Getting Kids to Sit Still to Learn a Catechism

More Videos

In this video, Mel Lacy, writer for the New City Catechism Curriculum, explains how this new curriculum from The Gospel Coalition allows children to learn important truths about God while remaining active.

I guess the honest answer is we don’t have to make our children to sit still to learn a catechism. We hope that the new product for The New City Catechism will be dynamic and creative. It is designed to be interactive.

Children will be involved in so many different things, learning so many different ways, so they can experience the great truths of the gospel. Parents shouldn’t be worried if their children have a hard time sitting still. They can stand. They can sit. They can play games. They can sing songs. In so many ways this product will help them to love the Lord Jesus more.
