Our daughters and sons are bombarded with messages about the source and nature of a woman’s worth. Both the culture at large and Christian subculture paint stereotypes of the most valuable (or least valuable) versions of womanhood. Both cultures can be guilty of devaluing women. How can we, as Christian mothers, raise daughters to look beyond stereotypes and embrace the strength and dignity that are their spiritual heritage and biblical calling? Equally important, how can we raise sons who value women rightly? Consider how to train the future women and men in your home to lift each other up as different but equally valued servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.
