Fellows Bios

G. K. Beale

Gregory K. Beale (PhD, University of Cambridge) is Professor of New Testament at RTS Dallas. He has had a long and distinguished academic career, teaching at Grove City College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Wheaton Graduate School, and Westminster Theological Seminary. Before joining the RTS Dallas faculty in 2021, he served as Westminster’s J. Gresham Machen Chair and Research Professor of New Testament and Biblical Interpretation. He is a past president of the Evangelical Theological Society.

J. Gary Millar

Gary Millar (PhD, University of Aberdeen) is principal of Queensland Theological College. He previously served as a pastor for 17 years. His dissertation was published as Now Choose Life in the New Studies in Biblical Theology series. He has written many other books, including a commentary on Deuteronomy in the Evangelical Biblical Theology Commentary series.

J. V. Fesko

J. V. Fesko (PhD in theology, University of Aberdeen, King’s College, Scotland) is the managing editor of Themelios at The Gospel Coalition and author of the recently published book, Signed, Sealed, and Delivered: An Introduction to Covenant Theology. He is the Harriet Barbour professor of systematic theology and historical theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, and an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Anneke, have three children.

Mary Willson Hannah

Mary Hannah (PhD, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) is the director of women in ministry at Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tennessee. She also teaches Old Testament part-time at Memphis City Seminary. Mary and her husband, Jeff, share a gaggle of beloved nieces and nephews, and two cheery canines keep the Hannah home abounding in fur.

Matthew Harmon

Matthew Harmon (PhD, Wheaton College) is professor of New Testament studies at Grace College and Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana. He is the author of commentaries on Galatians, Philippians, 2 Peter, and Jude and numerous books on biblical theology, including Rebels and Exiles: A Biblical Theology of Sin and Restoration and The Servant of the Lord and His Servant People: Tracing a Biblical Theme through the Canon. Matthew and his wife, Kate, live in Warsaw, Indiana, and have two sons.

L. Michael Morales

L. Michael Morales (PhD, Trinity College, University of Bristol) is professor of biblical studies at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He is the author of Who Shall Ascend the Mountain of the Lord?: A Biblical Theology of the Book of Leviticus and Exodus Old and New: A Biblical Theology of Redemption. His most recent publication is a two-volumed commentary on Numbers: Numbers 1-19, Numbers 20-36 (Apollos OT Commentary).

Patrick Schreiner

Patrick Schreiner (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) teaches New Testament and biblical theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. He is the author of many books, including The Transfiguration of Christ, Acts: The Christian Standard Commentary, and The Visual Word.

Brian Tabb

Brian J. Tabb (PhD, London School of Theology) is general editor of Themelios. He is also president and professor of biblical studies at Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minneapolis. Brian is the author of several books including After Emmaus: How the Church Fulfills the Mission of Christ and All Things New: Revelation as Canonical Capstone. He and his wife, Kristin, have four children and live in Minneapolis.
