The 3 Streams Institute Residency at Wellspring Church is a two-year, full-time, paid training program for men seeking ordination to the priesthood in the Anglican Church. Modeled after a teaching hospital residency, this program provides a relational, formational, and experiential context for those seeking to become senior pastors. Residents gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from senior pastors, and participate in a formational community dedicated to the Anglican tradition.
Program Characteristics
Pastoral Immersion: Residents are fully functioning members of the pastoral staff. Responsibilities may include preaching, teaching, spiritual formation, pastoral care, compassion ministries, project management, and financial oversight.
Mentored Experience: Residents are paired with senior-level priests and a lay mentor for organizational leadership development.
Formational Learning: Participants join learning cohorts that focus on spiritual formation, emotional and relational health, career discernment, practical pastoral training, the Anglican tradition, and management/organizational leadership.
Ordination Path: The program is designed in partnership with the Diocese of the Rocky Mountains to support residents in the ordination process.
