In this breakout session from TGC’s 2018 West Coast Conference, Kyle Strobel and Jamin Goggin helped articulate a biblical account of power and the implications for pastoral ministry and the call of the church.

Everything we do in ministry is fueled by underlying assumptions about the nature of power in the kingdom of God. As we read through the gospels we continually observe the tension between Jesus’ way of power and the expectations of religious leaders, crowds, and disciples, yet those expectations are often our own, and rarely go challenged in the church today.
