If you live long enough, you will suffer. It follows that Christians should prepare for suffering: “In this world, you will have tribulation. . . .” This workshop is devoted to planting six large theological “pillars” on which to hang a mature Christian worldview, to enable us to be prepared when suffering comes. This is not so much an “answer” to the questions raised by suffering and evil, still less a “how to” guide as to what to do. Rather, this is more akin to prophylactic medicine: it is teaching to prepare us to think and react Christianly and faithfully when the inevitable evil day arrives.
