Works with the Local Director to sustain and expand ministry on the Central Coast by promoting CEF programs to individuals, churches, community organizations, and school districts.
Has a strong desire and personal motivation to see clubs operate in a healthy manner and according to policies and procedures.
Coordinates ministry activity within budget, according to policy, and with Biblical character.
Bilingual preferred for future growth opportunities.
Job Description
Specific Responsibilities:
Have strong communication skills (verbal and written) in order to prepare Good News Club materials and communicate professionally with volunteers. Basic knowledge of Google Suite & Microsoft Office a plus.
Process new and returning Good News Clubs (e.g. prepare facility requests in a timely manner, confirm GNC Team workers, parent registration forms developed per Club).
Interview, screen and train new volunteers to determine appropriateness for ministry as well as role assigned. Coordinate training schedule and classes to ensure sufficient workers for all ministries.
Ensure Child Protection policy compliance by completing supervisory visits of ministry sites
Update Director regularly on ministry status, concerns, potential problems, keeping excellent documentation on all ministry related matters.
Track ministry programs and teams for Good News Club, 5 Day Club, CYIA for chapter statistics.
Attend and assist at CEF events and meetings relevant to the ministry.
Help make community connections with churches, children’s ministry groups, other local para-ministries, military families, etc. in order to promote Good News Club and other events.
Prepare a support raising plan and endeavor to bring new donors to the ministry.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.
Must have the ability to take initiative on tasks and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
A working knowledge of Child Evangelism Fellowship and/or Good News Club® is a bonus.
