Director of NextGen Ministries

Job Overview

The Director of Kids Ministry manages three other employees on our Kids team and oversees programming for 300+ kids each Sunday. Brookside Church (EFCA) is a growing congregation with two campus locations plus a full bilingual (Hispanic) congregation onsite on Sunday mornings as well. Brookside is committed to teaching from God’s Word and making everyone feel welcomed. We are a multi-generational church that puts a high priority on reaching and training up the next generation. We are very involved in caring for under-resourced families in our city as we have just opened a food/clothing/auto care center onsite. Omaha is a great place to live with plenty of “big city” attractions yet a friendly, heartland of America feel. Brookside strives to care for our staff deeply and is proud to have both staff members with 10-20 years longevity and young first year interns in our leadership development program.

This full-time position is eligible for our full benefits package including a health care stipend, retirement account options, and 21 days of paid vacation time. We have a flexible working environment with both onsite and remote work options. Our office is closed Fridays for a full Fri-Sat weekend of rest. You will love being on our team!
