Calvary Church of Santa Ana is a multi-generational church in the heart of Orange County, California that loves to worship through singing. Part of our vision here is that we love like Jesus across all cultures and all generations.
We are looking for a full-time Worship Pastor who loves Jesus deeply and wants to see people from all cultures and all generations love Jesus deeply as well.
Our Worship Pastor serves under the leadership of the Creative Team Pastor and works alongside a part-time Associate Worship Pastor, but works closely with our Senior Pastor as well. We have a wonderful group of volunteer musicians and singers who help lead our congregation on Sundays. We have a full-time Technical Arts Coordinator who leads an incredible team of volunteers running sound, lighting and video during services.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING ON-THE-JOB:
● Shepherding and developing the worship volunteers and staff; leading them in all-church initiatives
● Planning and leading worship services
● Recruiting, scheduling and building a community of leaders/musicians
● Curating, arranging, and writing songs for corporate worship gatherings to reach entire congregation
● Collaborating with the Service Planning Team to form Gospel-centered, Bible-based, Spirit-led liturgies
● Participating joyfully in the family/community that is Calvary Church
● Abiding in Jesus and His Word, following His lead to bear good fruit for His Kingdom
● Shepherding a designated group of individuals and families
● Developing the core competencies of a Calvary Pastor: Ministry Multiplication, Leadership Equipping, Team Building, Preaching/Teaching, Pastoral Care, Leadership
● Training and equipping leaders, coaches and directors to partner with you in ministry
● Partnering with the Creative Team to market events, studies, and activities
● Developing a Strategic Ministry Plan
● Ensuring budget compliance
● Leading personal and professional time to maintain healthy life balance, sabbath and rest
● Serving communion, baptizing believers, facilitating weddings and funerals, praying for/over individuals

● You are a human metronome with perfect pitch and play multiple instruments, especially ukulele
