Job Description

The Candidate:

• Professes faith in Jesus Christ and exhibits a lifestyle devoted to Him. 
• Is a current member of a local church in good standing. 
• Exemplifies the character qualifications of an elder as found in 1 Tim. 3:1-7 & Titus 1:5-9. 
  • The candidate does not have to be an ordained elder/pastor to apply. However, our hope is that the candidate does “aspire to the office of overseer” (1 Tim. 3:1), and as the character qualifications mentioned in 1 Tim. 3 & Titus 1 are traits that all Christian men should seek to live out, we do expect this to be true of our candidates.

• Theological education/previous experience is preferred, but not required. 

Responsibilities:

• Planning the worship services in cooperation with the Senior Pastor. 
• Scheduling volunteers for the services via PlanningCenter. 
• Providing oversight to the church’s worship team. 
• Recruiting & developing leaders and musicians for the worship team. 
• Conducting weekly worship team rehearsals. 
• Finding substitute leaders for rehearsals or services when unable to attend. 
• Working in conjunction with the Senior Pastor to lead and develop the ministries of the church at large. 
• Teaching/preaching responsibilities as needed. 

Hours & Compensation:

• 20-30 hrs. per week
• $30,000 yearly
