The Hope of Kingdom Expansion in a Hard-to-Reach Culture
Times of turbulence and shifting cultural trends give us an opportunity to recommit our lives to expanding God’s kingdom. We will look at the church in today’s culture, with the aim of seeing disciples multiplied and churches planted, as we pursue a missionary encounter with the world we’re called to reach.
Félix Cabrera
Félix Cabrera (M.A., Southeastern Baptist Seminary; D.Min., Midwestern Baptist Seminary) is a vice president for Send Network, the largest church planting network in North America, where he leads Send Network Español. As a church planter himself, Félix is passionate about seeing new, healthy churches started, leaders trained and sent, and the sheep loved and fed. Félix and his wife Denisse have two daughters.

Matt Carter
Matt Carter is vice president of mobilization for Send Network, the largest church planting network in North America. He was also founding pastor of The Austin Stone Church. During his tenure at The Stone, the church sent over 300 full-time missionaries to unreached people groups around the world. Matt holds an MDiv from Southwestern Seminary and a doctorate in expositional preaching from Southeastern Seminary. He and his wife Jennifer have three children.

Christine Hoover
Christine Hoover serves as women’s ministry associate at The Austin Stone Community Church’s Northwest congregation in Austin, Texas. She hosts The Ministry Wives Podcast and has authored six books, including Messy Beautiful Friendship and How to Thrive as a Pastor’s Wife, as well as a Bible study with Lifeway, Seek First the Kingdom. Her work has been featured on TGC, For The Church, and Christianity Today. Christine is married to Kyle, a pastor, and they have three boys.

Dean Inserra
Dean Inserra is founding and lead pastor of CITYCHURCH in Tallahassee, Florida, which he was called to start while in high school. He is passionate about reaching his city with the gospel, to see a worldwide impact made for Jesus. He is a member of Send Network’s lead team of planters, and is the author of The Unsaved Christian and Pure: Why the Bible’s Plan for Sexuality Isn’t Outdated, Irrelevant, or Oppressive. Dean is married to Krissie, and they have three children.

Bryan Loritts
Bryan Loritts (DMin, Liberty University) is the teaching pastor at The Summit Church, and has spent the bulk of his ministry serving and resourcing the multiethnic church. Bryan co-founded Fellowship Memphis in 2003 and serves as president of The Kainos Movement, an organization committed to seeing the multiethnic church become the new normal. He is also vice president of regions for Send Network, the largest church planting network in North America. Bryan is the husband of Korie, and the father of three children.
Tony Merida
Tony Merida is the founding pastor of Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, Vice President for Planter Development for the SEND Network and a Board member of The Gospel Coalition. He is the author of a number of books, including The Christ-Centered Expositor, Ordinary,and Orphanology. He and his wife, Kimberly, have five adopted children.

Vance Pitman
Vance Pitman is president of Send Network, founding pastor of Hope Church, and author of UNBURDENED: Stop Living for Jesus So Jesus Can Live Through You and The Stressless Life: Experiencing the Unshakable Presence of God’s Indescribable Peace. As a seasoned church planter and now leader of the largest church planting organization in North America, Vance seeks to inspire people to join in God’s eternal, redemptive mission of making disciples, by multiplying the church all over North America, that the nations may come to know him. Vance and his wife Kristie have four children and three grandchildren, and live near Las Vegas, Nevada.

Trevin Wax
Trevin Wax is vice president of research and resource development at the North American Mission Board and a visiting professor at Cedarville University. Trevin is a regular columnist at The Gospel Coalition and has contributed to The Washington Post, Religion News Service, World, and Christianity Today. He has lectured at Wheaton College and Oxford University. He is a founding editor of The Gospel Project, and the author of multiple books, including The Thrill of Orthodoxy, Rethink Your Self, This Is Our Time, and Gospel Centered Teaching.
