The Gospel Coalition

Women's Training Network

We train women to use Scripture for their own growth and for service in God's kingdom—all for the glory of Christ.

We believe our teaching must be grounded in what God has said in his Word, so we base all we teach in the Bible and work to help women do the same. To use the Bible well we want to train women to interpret each text in its original context, understanding it within the overall story of Scripture, and applying its truth to life today. Simultaneously, all of Scripture leads us to the work of Jesus, so our instruction aims to help women recognize this connection and share it faithfully with others.

We believe the Bible teaches the gospel is not merely the entry point to the Christian life, but is also what Christians need to be reminded of in their daily walk. Therefore, our instruction takes a gospel-centered approach to apply God’s truth in all areas of life and ministry.

We believe all women should be equipped and encouraged in their ability to use Scripture well, as a disciple of the Lord Jesus. This will affect whatever area of ministry a woman serves. For example, she may lead a Bible study, raise children to know and love God, share the gospel with a co-worker through reading the Bible together, speak with a family member on current events from a biblical perspective, or teach a group of women in her local church.

Two-Day Intensive FAQ

We generally recommend women attend the Bible Interpretation Track at their first Two-Day Intensive. This practical track is foundational to all other tracks that we offer. If you already have a good grasp on these skills, this track can help you determine how to teach these skills to other women. However, you are welcome to select any available track!

We aim to keep the registration fee as low as possible, so this training can be available to many women. Because of this, we do not offer discounts.

There is no waiting list for specific tracks. If the track you are interested in is full, we invite you to select a different track and consider attending another Two-Day Intensive in the future!

Yes! Due to the capacity of each host location, the maximum capacity of these events vary from 300-500 women. We recommend registering as soon as possible to guarantee your spot!

If your preferred location has sold out, the registration link will be replaced with a link to the waiting list. You are welcome to add your name or group to the waiting list. You will be emailed if you are near the top of the list, and again if a spot has become available. We will not respond to emails asking about your place on the waiting list. If a spot does not become available, we hope you can join us at another Two-Day Intensive!

Registrants who cancel at least one month prior to the training will receive a full refund. If you cancel your registration within the 30 days prior to the event, no refund will be given, but you are welcome to donate or sell your ticket to another woman wanting to attend this training.

Yes! The Women’s Training Network team will curate a bookstore with recommended resources based on the content discussed at each location. Be sure to bring a bag (or suitcase!) to take home any new books!

We're glad you are traveling to attend a Two-Day Intensive! You are responsible for arranging your own lodging and transportation. Some locations may provide a room block, offering registrants discounted lodging at a nearby hotel. If this is available, event registrants will be notified by email.

We’re glad you share our passion of equipping women in their use of the Scriptures! You can fill out our host interest survey to let us know you’re interested in hosting an event. We recommend your talking with a pastor, elder, or ministry leader at your church before filling out our interest form.
