An Important Update on TGCW20

We train women to use Scripture for their own growth and for service in God's kingdom—all for the glory of Christ.

Grounded in the Scriptures
We believe our teaching must be grounded in what God has said in his Word, so we base all we teach in the Bible and work to help women do the same. To use the Bible well we want to train women to interpret each text in its original context, understanding it within the overall story of Scripture, and applying its truth to life today. Simultaneously, all of Scripture leads us to the work of Jesus, so our instruction aims to help women recognize this connection and share it faithfully with others.
Centered on the Gospel
We believe the Bible teaches the gospel is not merely the entry point to the Christian life, but is also what Christians need to be reminded of in their daily walk. Therefore, our instruction takes a gospel-centered approach to apply God’s truth in all areas of life and ministry.
Women Equipped to Serve
We believe all women should be equipped and encouraged in their ability to use Scripture well, as a disciple of the Lord Jesus. This will affect whatever area of ministry a woman serves. For example, she may lead a Bible study, raise children to know and love God, share the gospel with a co-worker through reading the Bible together, speak with a family member on current events from a biblical perspective, or teach a group of women in her local church.

We believe all women should be equipped and encouraged in their ability to use Scripture well, as a disciple of the Lord Jesus.

FAQs

Why are the remaining 2020 events canceled?
Due to COVID-19, TGC has made the difficult decision to cancel all of our fall events. This decision has come after much consideration and prayer, and we believe it is the wisest and safest course of action at this time.
What about 2021 WTN events?
At this time, we are not planning to host women’s training events for 2021. Lord willing, we will gather together in Indianapolis for TGC’s postponed Women’s Conference, April 9 to 11, 2021, and TGC’s National Conference, April 12 to 14, 2021. We hope that you will join us for one of these events instead!
Why are the events called Entrusted?
Entrusted, our theme for 2020, is taken from 2 Timothy. In this letter we are reminded that we are entrusted with a message to proclaim and a gift to steward. Join us at an event to hear from 2 Timothy and be further equipped to pass on what has been entrusted to us!
Which track should I take?
We generally recommend women attend the Bible Interpretation Track at their first WTN training event. This practical track is foundational to all other tracks that we offer. If you already have a good grasp on these skills, this track can help you determine how to teach these skills to other women. However, you are welcome to select any available track!
Do you offer scholarships?
We offer a limited number of need-based financial scholarships (50% off registration) for each event. In order to request a scholarship, we ask that you first request financial assistance from your local church. We love partnering with local churches and feel they are best suited to come alongside and help individual members. If they are unable to contribute, we ask you to provide a brief letter from one of your church leaders recommending you and requesting this need-based scholarship for you. Please send your letter and request to [email protected] Thank you and we hope to see you at one of our events!
Do you offer group discounts?
We aim to keep the registration fee as low as possible, so this training can be available to many women. Because of this, we do not offer group discounts.
Do these events sell out?
Yes! Due to the capacity of each host location, the maximum capacity of these events vary from 300-500 women. We recommend registering as soon as possible to guarantee your spot!
Registration is sold out—is there a waiting list?
If your preferred location has sold out, the registration link will be replaced with a link to the waiting list. You are welcome to add your name or group to the waiting list. You will be emailed if you are near the top of the list, and again if a spot has become available. We will not respond to emails asking about your place on the waiting list. If a spot does not become available, we hope you can join us at another event!
Can I get into a track if it's full?
There is no waiting list for specific tracks. If the track you are interested in is full, we invite you to select a different track and consider attending another WTN event in the future!
Will there be a bookstore?
Yes! The Women’s Training Network team will curate a bookstore with recommended resources based on the content discussed at each location. Be sure to bring a bag (or suitcase!) to take home any new books!
Do I need to arrange my own accommodations?
We're glad you are traveling to attend one of our training events! You are responsible for arranging your own lodging and transportation. Some locations may provide a room block, offering registrants discounted lodging at a nearby hotel. If this is available, event registrants will be notified by email.
Is audio from these events available online?
Due to the interactive design of this event, we do not post audio online or offer any online training. If you are interested in online training, we recommend that you check out the abundance of resources at TGC Courses.
How can I get a WTN training event at my church?
We’re glad you share our passion of equipping women in their use of the Scriptures! You can fill out our host interest survey to let us know you’re interested in hosting an event. We recommend your talking with a pastor, elder, or ministry leader at your church before filling out our interest form.
Do you offer this training in Spanish?
If you are interested in Spanish speaking training events, please check out our Coalición por Evangelio Women’s Training Network’s upcoming events. We are also excited to offer a Spanish track at our Entrusted events in Memphis, TN and LA County, CA.
