These are challenging times. There is a lot to process as a nation, and as a church. We are being confronted with issues that are complex and weighty. We need to take this weight to our God. We need to call out to him.
Wherever you are coming from, whatever your race or background, however much pain or anger you carry, come and pray with us. Join us as we speak together the biblical language of lament, bringing our pain and longing to God in the way David and the psalmists so often did:
Give ear to my words, O LORD; consider my groaning. Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray. (Ps. 5:1–2)
In these dark and divisive days, let’s show the world what it looks like when the beautiful mosaic of God’s gospel people comes together in unity and desperation before their mighty King.
