This collection of prayers was published to celebrate 300 years of ministry of the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge. Three hundred prayers from sixty countries are collected under sections that deal with the church year, and with the church’s different miniseries. Reflecting a truly global Christian community, with an extremely poignant final section on justice, freedom and peace. Useful not only as a devotional aid, but also as a theological reflection on the contextualisation of theology.
