As the title of this Festschrift for Professor Hawthorne suggests, this collection of essays is pitched at a fairly demanding level of technical engagement with the biblical text and, as is typical of such collections, the essays cover a diverse range of topics. Most, though not all, of the contributors are evangelical scholars, who testify to the impact Professor Hawthorne has had on evangelical scholarship through his students as well as through his own writings. This is probably a volume to consult in a library.
