Martin Luther’s Basic Theological Writings

Written by Timothy F. Lull Reviewed By Craig Blomberg

Where can the novice theological student find an anthology of Luther’s work which is detailed enough to introduce him to the breadth of Luther’s writings and themes, yet brief enough to be contained in one volume? This book provides the answer. Lull believes we can learn particularly from Luther’s theological method, his emphasis on the bondage of the will, and his formulation of the shape of Christian ethics. Quite a bargain for the price!
