John D. Currid is the Carl W. McMurray Professor of Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. Currid has been part of the RTS faculty for 20 years and previously served as chair of the biblical studies division in Jackson. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies in Israel. Currid serves as project director of the Bethsaida Excavations Project in Israel (1995-present) and as senior pastor at Ballantyne Presbyterian Church (ARP).
