Matt and Lauren Chandler met in the mountains of Colorado and married two years later. They both came into the marriage with their own baggage and had a difficult start. During the past 17 years of marriage, the Chandlers have grown a lot, both individually and together, and they share their wisdom in the book The Mingling of Souls: God’s Design for Love, Marriage, Sex, and Redemption, published by David C. Cook in 2015.

For this podcast, I talked with Matt and Lauren about what they’ve learned during the hard times and why they have a burden for helping other Christians thrive in their marriages. If you’re like me, you may be taken aback by their honesty about the sin, mistaken notions, and unmet expectations in our most intimate relationships.

But the Gospels are historically reliable. And the evidence for this is vast.
