Job Overview

Founded in 2012, we started off as a home church. Through the years God has blessed His church and we have grown from meeting in a basement to owning the current building He provided. We are non-denominational and elder-led. There are currently 4 elders and 30-40 congregants, the majority of whom are also members.  Our Sunday service is focused on the preaching of God’s word and on worship through music. We sing a mix of classic hymns and modern worship songs. We have a small congregation, so everyone pitches in as they can. We believe in believer’s baptism by immersion. We celebrate the Lord’s Table once monthly.

Job Description

We are looking for a born-again follower of Jesus who will preach the Bible and serve our church family.  Prior experience leading a church is desirable, but we are also very willing to grow with someone with less experience. An exegetical and verse-by-verse style of preaching is preferred. The teaching pastor will have several additional responsibilities as we do not have other staff.  Some of these responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, preaching and leading Sunday morning service including worship through music (singing or instrumental playing not required), pastoral care, teaching small groups, and managing the church email and website.

Pay

$26 per hour, about 20-25 hours per week.

We will pay for a portion of any moving expenses, up to $3,000.
