Course Introduction

Today, having a conversation with someone of different beliefs can seem overwhelming.  More and more people are asking challenging questions about the Christian faith. Do you feel comfortable giving a response to objections about what you believe? Do you fear that you might offend someone and end up pushing them farther away from faith in Christ?  Have you been able to have good conversations with people around you about life’s biggest questions?

The RZIM Academy offers training in evangelism undergirded by apologetics.  Ravi Zacharias has been reaching people all over the world for more than 40 years, “Helping the thinker believe, and helping the believer think.” The goal of our training is to help students improve their ability to focus on the questioner and not just the question. This short course is compiled from various lectures from different courses we offer. For more information or to sign up for the complete courses, please visit rzimacademy.org.

These six sessions will challenge you to always be prepared to give an answer for the hope that is within you, and to do so with gentleness and respect. The aim is for you to grow in confidence that the Christian worldview is the most accurate description of the reality we all experience, and that all Christians are called to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God and point others toward the person of Jesus Christ.

Why Jesus?

Ravi Zacharias introduces the topic of apologetics in this lecture, describes challenges the apologist will face, and emphasizes the importance of answering the questioner and not just the question.  This lecture is from Week 1 of the RZIM Academy Core Module.
