Stream or download the audio recording from this breakout session titled Evangelism in the Arts with Todd Goranson and Steve Rooks that was delivered at The Gospel Coalition’s 2019 National Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. How are the arts effective in evangelism? Are they necessary for affecting our communities with the gospel? This workshop explored the power of the arts as a vehicle for truth and and transformation. Discussion focused on leveraging artistic excellence as a “currency” for effective engagement with a postmodern and secular culture. The workshop also looked at organizations such as the Christian Performing Arts Fellowship, Project Dance, Creative Arts Europe, and the Awakening Movement as examples of organizations that have had significant kingdom influence at both the local and global level. The workshop concluded with a question-and-answer session.
