This breakout session titled Centering Women on the Gospel with Taylor Turkington was delivered at The Gospel Coalition’s 2018 West Coast Conference in Fullerton, California.

We know that the good news of the gospel is what our lost friends and family desperately need. Sometimes we forget that the gospel is also what we and our believing friends, family, and church brothers and sisters desperately need as well. As new covenant believers, we grow in the gospel. In this session, Taylor talks about how the gospel of grace permeates our ministries as disciple-makers, parents, Bible teachers, and sisters in Christ. The best we can do for others is to help them center their lives on the gospel.

Taylor Turkington cares deeply about training and supporting Bible teachers so they serve even better equipped in the Scriptures. She currently directs BibleEquipping and has previously directed training ministries for The Gospel Coalition and Western Seminary. Her experience includes training women internationally and working in the local church. She has an MA and Doctor of Ministry from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon, where she lives with her family. She also loves good chocolate and great tea!
