Earlier this week, I transitioned to a new role here at LifeWay — the Bible and Reference Publisher for B&H. I will be overseeing all of LifeWay’s Bible and reference products, as well as guiding the launch of the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) early next year.

Since I came to LifeWay, almost six years ago, I have focused primarily on launching The Gospel Project, a curriculum for all ages. The first edition of The Gospel Project was released in Fall 2012, and we launched a new, chronological version for all ages in Fall 2015. It has been a joy to watch churches respond to The Gospel Project and adopt it as part of their educational and missional strategy. From the launch to the relaunch, the number of participants doubled, and today, more than a million people every week use the curriculum.

Moving forward, I will continue to have an editorial presence with the teams who work on The Gospel Project, but my day-to-day activities will shift to Bible and reference publishing.

I’m deeply honored to join a team responsible for stewarding God’s Word and continuing LifeWay’s tradition of faithful Bible publishing. I pray that my work alongside so many people who are committed to faithfulness and truth will advance God’s kingdom and strengthen His church. I look forward to taking part in publishing multiple Bible translations and to introducing the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) next year.

To those of you who read my blog regularly, I covet your prayers as I begin this new endeavor. I have a steep learning curve in the days ahead. It is no small thing to steward the translation of God’s inspired Word, and that is why I am grateful to work with authors and editors and pastors who have a passion to see God’s Word bear fruit in people’s lives.
