A friend of mine recently said that Josh Chatraw’s Telling a Better Story shares an important similarity with my book Rethink Your Self: Josh’s work provides a manual for doing apologetics in the next generation, he told me, while Rethink Your Self provides a model.

  • How do those ministering in an age of anxiety tell a better story than what the world offers?
  • How can we encourage today’s teenagers and young adults to rethink today’s most common mantras, such as “you do you,” “you are enough,” and “follow your heart”?
  • How do we reach the next generation with the gospel?

These are some of the questions church leaders are wrestling with today.

Gen Z Apologetics: A Free Webinar

Josh and I began a conversation about doing apologetics in a way that presents the beauty of the gospel in a skeptical and cynical age. We plan to continue that conversation during a live webinar in December designed for people doing discipleship in a time when doubt feels like the new normal.

Our hope is that this free event will help leaders understand the undercurrents that have made faith more fragile in order to engage the next generation with the gospel.
