“There never yet have been, nor are there now, too many good books.”

Almost five centuries later, Martin Luther’s words still ring true today. At The Gospel Coalition we seek to renew the contemporary church in the ancient gospel of Jesus Christ. We’re grateful for how God has used good books to strengthen his people in past generations, and we’re committed to promoting gospel-centered resources today.

That’s why, as we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, we’re excited to partner with Zondervan for a TGC17 eBook sale. You can save up to 76 percent on timely and popular works by Timothy Keller, D. A. Carson, Michael Horton, and many others.

Is there enough evidence for us to believe the Gospels?

In an age of faith deconstruction and skepticism about the Bible’s authority, it’s common to hear claims that the Gospels are unreliable propaganda. And if the Gospels are shown to be historically unreliable, the whole foundation of Christianity begins to crumble.
But the Gospels are historically reliable. And the evidence for this is vast.
To learn about the evidence for the historical reliability of the four Gospels, click below to access a FREE eBook of Can We Trust the Gospels? written by New Testament scholar Peter J. Williams.
