As Western culture has changed, prevailing attitudes toward Christianity have changed with it. There’s no denying this reality.

But what about Tim Keller, John Piper, and Don Carson? Has their attitude toward matters of Christ and culture evolved over the years as the world around them has grown more hostile to Christianity?

That’s the question set before them in this 12-minute roundtable video. Sit with Keller (TGC vice president and pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan), Piper (teacher at Desiring God and chancellor at Bethlehem College and Seminary) and Carson (TGC president and research professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) as they consider transforming culture, how politically involved pastors should be, how they prepare people to be Christians in the public square, and more.

“I am more aware of how important it is to disciple people for their public lives. It’s my job as a pastor to convert people,” Keller says to Carson and Piper. “I have now realized that the best way for me as a preacher and leader of a church to transform society is to create thoughtful disciples who don’t seal off their public life from their faith.”

Is there enough evidence for us to believe the Gospels?

In an age of faith deconstruction and skepticism about the Bible’s authority, it’s common to hear claims that the Gospels are unreliable propaganda. And if the Gospels are shown to be historically unreliable, the whole foundation of Christianity begins to crumble.
But the Gospels are historically reliable. And the evidence for this is vast.
