Matt and Lauren Chandler met in the mountains of Colorado and married two years later. They both came into the marriage with their own baggage and had a difficult start. During the past 17 years of marriage the Chandlers have grown a lot, both individually and together, and they share their wisdom in the book The Mingling of Souls: God's Design for Love, Marriage, Sex, and Redemption, published by David C. Cook in 2015.
Now they are hosting two live events focused on building healthy relationships:
- The Mingling of Souls Marriage Conference will be February 19 and 20 in Jacksonville, Florida
- The Mingling of Souls Dating Conference will be November 11 in College Station, Texas.
You’ll find more information about both conferences at www.minglingofsouls.com. If you can’t attend in person, you can still join in by registering for the live webcast.
For this podcast, I talked with Matt and Lauren about what they’ve learned during the hard times and why they have a burden for helping other Christians thrive in their marriages. If you’re like me, you may be taken aback by their honesty about the sin, mistaken notions, and unmet unexpectations in our most intimate relationships.
