The Gospel Coalition wants to celebrate how God is working through you, as you live out your faith in your everyday work.

To that end Bethany Jenkins, director of TGC’s faith and work initiative Every Square Inch, and Katherine Leary Alsdorf, founder of the Center for Faith and Work and co-author with Tim Keller of Every Good Endeavor, are hosting an intimate dinner at our upcoming National Women’s Conference in Indianapolis to bring together women with encouraging stories of how God is using them in their vocations.

If you’d like to attend, please share your story with us. Tell us what you do every day, how you feel about what you do, and when you’ve felt your work has been particularly meaningful. As you reflect, you might consider the theme of the conference, “Resurrection Life in a World of Suffering,” or the selected essays from the dinner we hosted at TGCW14 in Orlando.

Twenty-five women will be selected for this complimentary dinner sponsored by Edge Mentoring and hosted by Cerulean Restaurant, and their stories will have the chance to be published in a series of posts on our website as we lead up to the conference. Each attendee will also receive a copy of the ESV Women’s Devotional Bible compliments of Crossway Publishing.

Before you apply, here are a few things to know:

  • You must already be registered for the conference.
  • Applications will close at midnight on Friday, April 15.
  • The dinner will take place on Friday, June 17, at 5:45 p.m.
  • The 25 women selected will be from a variety of industries, roles, and ages. Although style and form will be taken into consideration, we’re looking for a fruitful, diverse discussion, so don’t worry if you aren’t a great writer. At TGCW14 we had freelance writers, government workers, stay-at-home moms, teachers, graphic designers, and more.

We look forward to celebrating God’s work through you, as we recognize that the good news of Scripture includes the eventual renewal of all creation. In light of that future, we glorify God not only through the ministry of the Word but also through the everyday work of our vocations—art, business, government, scholarship, homemaking—as he works through us to cultivate the material world for the glory of his Son and the flourishing of our neighbors. Come celebrate this work with us!

Editors’ note: Thanks to our co-sponsors, Cerulean Restaurant and EDGE Mentoring, for making this dinner possible.
