Dare to Go Where Few Women’s Studies Will Go

More Videos

Paige Benton Brown and Jenny Salt delivered plenary addresses at The Gospel Coalition’s 2012 women’s conference in Orlando. As Brown and Salt get to know each other in this video, you’ll get to know them likewise as women passionate to teach God’s Word to other women.

Salt earned her MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and serves as the dean of students at Sydney Missionary and Bible College in Australia. She explains why she loves to go where few women’s groups dare go in their Bible studies, to the messy passages of the Old Testament. But in Orlando she will address “In the Third Heaven: The God Who Can’t Be Talked About (2 Corinthians 12).”

Brown earned a master’s degree at Covenant Theological Seminary and previously served on staff with Reformed University Fellowship at Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia. She confesses that teaching certain passages scares her and talks with Salt about aiming illustrations and application toward women but not changing the process of explaining God’s Word. Her address in Orlando will be, “In the Temple: The Glorious and Forgiving God (1 Kings 8).”
