Don Carson
Don Carson is emeritus professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, and founder and theologian-at-large of The Gospel Coalition. He has edited and authored numerous books. He and his wife, Joy, have two children.
Kevin DeYoung
Kevin DeYoung is senior pastor of Christ Covenant Church in Matthews, North Carolina, Board chairman of The Gospel Coalition, and assistant professor of systematic theology at Reformed Theological Seminary (Charlotte). He has authored numerous books, including Just Do Something, and he holds a PhD from the University of Leicester. Kevin and his wife, Trisha, have eight children: Ian, Jacob, Elizabeth, Paul, Mary, Benjamin, Tabitha, and Andrew.
Ligon Duncan
Ligon Duncan is the chancellor and CEO, and professor of systematic and historical theology, at Reformed Theological Seminary. He is co-founder of Together for the Gospel, a senior fellow of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and a Board member of The Gospel Coalition. He holds a BA from Furman University, an MDiv and MA from Covenant Theological Seminary, and a PhD from the University of Edinburgh. Duncan has edited, written, and contributed to numerous books. Ligon and his wife, Anne, have two children.
Carl Ellis Jr.
Carl Ellis Jr. serves as the provost’s professor of theology and culture, assistant to the chancellor, and senior fellow of the African American Leadership Initiative at Reformed Theological Seminary. Ellis is the author of several books, including Free at Last? and Saving Our Sons. He holds a BA from Hampton University, an MAR from Westminster Theological Seminary, and a DPhil from Oxford Graduate School.
Nancy Guthrie
Nancy Guthrie, host of the Help Me Teach the Bible podcast at The Gospel Coalition, teaches the Bible through numerous Bible study books, at her home church—Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Tennessee—as well as at conferences around the country and internationally. She and her husband, David are the co-hosts of the GriefShare video series and host Respite Retreat for couples who have faced the death of a child.
Julius Kim
Julius J. Kim serves as the president of The Gospel Coalition. Prior to that he served for 20 years as the dean of students and professor of practical theology at Westminster Seminary California. He is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America and serves as an associate pastor at New Life PCA in Escondido, California. Julius holds a PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is the author of multiple books. He and his wife, Ji Hee, have two daughters.
Melissa Kruger
Melissa Kruger serves as director of women’s initiatives for The Gospel Coalition. She has authored multiple books, including The Envy of Eve: Finding Contentment in a Covetous World, Walking with God in the Season of Motherhood, and Growing Together: Taking Mentoring Beyond Small Talk and Prayer Requests. Her husband, Mike, is the president of Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, and they have three children.
Trillia Newbell
Trillia Newbell is the author of several books, including A Great Cloud of Witnesses, Sacred Endurance, If God Is for Us, Fear and Faith, and the children’s book God’s Very Good Idea. You can find her at trillianewbell.com.
John Onwuchekwa
John Onwuchekwa is a pastor at Cornerstone Church in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Council member of The Gospel Coalition. He is the author of Prayer: How Praying Together Shapes the Church. John holds an MA from Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Shawndra, are the proud parents of one daughter, Ava.
John Piper
John Piper serves as founder and lead teacher at Desiring God and is chancellor of Bethlehem College & Seminary. For 33 years, Piper served as pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He has authored more than 50 books, and more than 30 years of his preaching and writing are available free of charge at desiringGod.org. Piper resides in the Minneapolis area with his wife of 51 years, and has five children and 14 grandchildren.
David Platt
David Platt is pastor of McLean Bible Church in Washington, D.C., and the founder of Radical. He holds a PhD from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and has previously served as the president of the International Mission Board. He has contributed to several volumes in the CCEC series (Matthew, Galatians, 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus, and James) and is the author of Radical, Radical Together, Follow Me, Counter Culture, and Something Needs to Change.
Jen Wilkin
Jen Wilkin is an author and Bible teacher from Dallas, Texas. She has organized and led studies for women in home, church, and parachurch contexts. Her passion is to see others become articulate and committed followers of Christ, with a clear understanding of why they believe what they believe, grounded in the Word of God.
