I thoroughly enjoyed this brief video of D.A. Horton sharing the story of Koinonia Bible Church in Kansas City, MO. A couple weeks back I linked to two church planting efforts in the urban community that are bearing fruit. One of them was the Rebuild Initiative, of which Horton and Koinonia are a part.

This video starts with a look at Horton’s early church planting efforts in an area of the city he loves. The story ends with the church plant merging with an existing church to form a multi-ethnic, multi-generational congregation. Praise the Lord for the power of the gospel! I hope you enjoy the video. As you watch, pray for Koinonia, the Rebuild Initiative, and other efforts like it.
