50 years later, the original theory holds up:
I saw this 10 years ago and it remains as mesmerizing and convincing today as it was back then. The Military Channel did a documentary several years ago called “JFK Inside the Target Car.” That documentary gives overwhelming scientific evidence that the third and fatal shot to President Kennedy also came from the 6th floor of the Depository. I have found that conspiracy theorists will always believe, no matter what the evidence, that shots were fired from the grassy knoll, that Kennedy and Connelly were seated in such a way that makes the single bullet theory impossible (the Beyond Conspiracy documentary shown above also demolishes that idea), and that more than 3 shots were fired. The Warren Commission did get some of the details wrong. They did not have access to the CSI type technology we have today, but their overall theory of the shooting remains sound.
Yes. Read Gerald Posner’s “Case Closed,” which answers just about every question and addresses just about every conspiracy theory.
I would also recommend the massive volume by Vincent Bugliosi — Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It is a meticulous analysis of over 1600 printed pages, plus a CD of an additional 1000 pages. There is nothing quite like it.
The little-known, but most important clue to the JFK assassination can be found in this Youtube video:
This video contains grave distortions and was thoroughly debunked by the research community long ago (along with the laughable ‘Inside the Target Car’ special). As for Posner and Bugliosi, both of their supposed ‘final’ words on the matter contain serious errors and both authors work backwards from a pre-conceived conclusion. The Kennedy case must be approached from ALL spheres, and not merely the ‘who shot and from where’ area. I suggest you all do some deep unbiased research before commenting on this subject further. Study the political context of the period in question, namely Kennedy’s intentions towards Vietnam and the CIA. Read some books that are not touted by the major media as the ‘final word’. A good place to start would be ‘JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why it Matters’ as well as the books by Col. Fletcher Prouty, Mark Lane, John Newman and Jim DiEugenio. ‘Mainstream scholarship’ is about thirty-years behind concerning this topic, and has generally ignored the explosive documents discovered as a result of the JFK Act during the 90’s. The issue is so much more expansive than Dale Meyer’s pathetic ‘single bullet fact’ animation…if only it were that simple.
