On vacation I read Alan Jacobs’s The Narnian: The Life and Imagination of C. S. Lewis
(HarperOne, 2005). Though I would have a few quibbles with the book, it is an excellent, careful look at Lewis’s life, and a wonderful exploration of his mind and imagination. I’ll probably have more to say (or some quotes from the book or from Lewis) in future posts, but I at least wanted to do a short post to recommend the book, especially if you want a wise and careful guide to connect the dots between Lewis’s life, imagination/mind, and writings.
