“Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak,

and let the earth hear the words of my mouth.

2 May my teaching drop as the rain,

my speech distill as the dew,

like gentle rain upon the tender grass,

and like showers upon the herb.

3 For I will proclaim the name of the LORD;

ascribe greatness to our God! Dt 32:1-3.

    Wow, you need to repost this every Saturday night so I remember to pray it.

    And for the congregation while we are listening to our pastor/preacher.
    man, did my pastor preach a message this past Sunday! Went right down to the roots of my soul. Sweet water that tastes good, and hopefully helps me grow in grace and joy and righteousness.

    Our church’s Sunday school just began a fantastic series on apologetics. As I’m listening to the message I keep finding myself thinking, “This message has been prepared, not by my pastor, but by an elder in the church with a fulltime NON-ministry job.

    The sacrifices this man makes in time and effort and the response God gives to that time and effort is awe-inspiring.
