Because of your support and partnership, we are seeing Packing Hope resources go around the world. Here are a few recent quotes from our partners. Books are being deployed in some amazing places!

Rwanda
“We will distribute [resources] to local pastors of churches who will then use them as discipleship tools . . . we are going to a very under resourced region of Rwanda where [good] theology and books are not accessible. These will provide a great start to a developing library for local pastors.

Nicaragua
“[Resources are given to] local pastors for use in their own theological growth and to lead congregations in spiritual growth. Each year we have brought theology books for the local churches and when we go back to them a few months later the earmarked, highlighted copies have been passed on to other pastors.”

Uganda
“There has been a resurgence of people that are passionate about the Lord in the church there . . . and we hope to see them continue to rise up and impact the villages around them! They are beginning to engage in intentional discipleship, and the degree of spiritual maturity (and purity) in the area that we minister has increased greatly.”

Honduras
“[We] work closely with local pastors all over Tegucigalpa, and have organized a training conference for these men and their wives. There is a tremendous need for resources. I am sure the pastors who receive these materials will gain deeper, clearer understanding of God’s Word, and pass that truth on to their congregations.”

Senegal
“We will be conducting pastoral training for Senegalese church leaders for a week. They will be given out as gifts at our pastor training event. The remainder will be sent to churches in Senegal. We want to see these Senegalese pastors strengthened and encouraged in their faith and in their ability to teach and encourage other believers.”

Malawi
“I am a long-term missionary in Malawi and am starting a seminary in August. I will be back in the United States this summer and would like to pick up these books at that time to take with me. This will be our theology textbook for our certificate program. We hope it will help ground pastors theologically so they may better preach the Word and serve their churches.”

India
“We will be traveling to India to continue our partnership . . . 250 leaders will be attending a seminary that our church helped to open and several times per year we go to teach theology classes to these men. Our prayer is that this book will be an incredible resource for these students in conjunction with the theological training they will be receiving when we are in-country.”

Ecuador
“We are training various people that come from various theological backgrounds. Many of them from dangerous ones. We plan to give this as part of the discipleship series. These resources will also go to students at Alliance Academy as well as to church leaders locally that we partner with. We are working hard on grounding people in solid theological resources. Ecuador is attacked by poor doctrine that affects the life’s of people. We hope these books will be of help as we continue to disciple and mentor.”

I’m continually thankful for this grassroots effort. You can help us continue this work of Theological Famine Relief by setting up monthly support or increasing your giving. We are currently at about 50 percent of our need.

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! (Psalm 96:3)

Is there enough evidence for us to believe the Gospels?

In an age of faith deconstruction and skepticism about the Bible’s authority, it’s common to hear claims that the Gospels are unreliable propaganda. And if the Gospels are shown to be historically unreliable, the whole foundation of Christianity begins to crumble.
But the Gospels are historically reliable. And the evidence for this is vast.
